Since I did not get the tool for MDF, it is working great for the drywall. I will buy additiional tools that have been recondidtioned in the future. The bits are not worth a darn to cut out MDF boards, but work terrific on drywall. I had some reservations with the reconditioned part, but have found this tool to be every bit as good as an original purchase.

Good for drywall but nothing thicker or harder. Strongly recommend buying stronger assessories. Overall, nice tool but not very powerful. The two bits that it comes with are very weak.
